NSW Business of the Year winner, Ocular Robotics is launching a new ASSOB share offering to raise expansion capital with which to drive rapid growth in sales of Ocular Robotics’ end user and OEM products. The new capital raising which is now in VIP mode targets signicant resources at sales and marketing taking advantage of the strategic work the company has undertaken in product development to broaden its end user product offering.
The expanded product offering delivers a suite of groundbreaking and unique products providing solutions in 3D scanning, vision and spectral sensing to the automation, robotics, security, and other sectors. The company’s website reflects these new products and the marketing messages associated with them. The new offer also anticipates an international expansion that will see the company establish permanent operations in the USA in year 2 (2015/2016) of its plan.
Additionally, at the Regional Business Awards on the 25th July, Mark Bishop, Ocular Robotics founder and CEO received the Business Leader award for South East Sydney a region that encompasses the Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, St George and Sutherland areas of Sydney.
With this win Mark will proceed as a finalist to the state awards in November where last year the company won the awards in both the Excellence in Innovation Category and as NSW Business of the Year.
