Brisbane-based ‘seed-to-sale’ cannabis cultivator and manufacturer Medcan Australia is actively seeking strategic partners, including joint venture (JV) opportunities, for market entry and overseas outreach, Managing Director and co-founder Craig Cochran said.
The firm would consider ideal partners those companies already operating in the cannabis segment, especially those looking to enter Australia, or parties like agritech or pharma firms that want to expand into the space, Cochran noted. It is flexible around equity arrangements in any JV, depending on the partner, he noted, without revealing further details."
