Integrity Compliance Solutions wins US based seafood processing giant Trident Seafood
"It is an exciting time for Integrity Compliance Systems Limited (ICS) as we secure the business of Trident Seafoods against global and local competitors in the USA. Our initial assignment was a review of the remote processing plants in Alaska with a view to improving the processing methods and creating a new food safety Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan, essential to meeting the stringent global regulatory and seafood handling standards.
Clare Winkel, an Australian based seafood expert and ICS Executive Technical Manager, has just completed a two-week onsite review of the operations at four remote Alaskan fishing plants. When Clare was asked what was the most exciting aspect of her assignment which included helicopter only access, she said,” Just missing the Pavlof volcano eruption which grounded all aircraft in Anchorage.”
Clare received high praise from the Vice President of Quality Control Mr. Kenny Lum for her detailed consultancy work, he wrote, “Clare’s work was exemplary and professional.”
Trident Seafood will join ICS’ current large Australian food manufacturers e.g. George Weston Foods and retailers e.g. Woolworths as clients.
