We have been very encouraged by the level of business and investor activity during the past month. Investor confidence is returning and we have seen a rise the number of pre-IPO companies wanting to list on the ASX (as an example). Border restrictions are being eased (eg. http://statements.qld.gov.au/Statement/2020/6/30/restrictions-eased-border-plan-in-place) and Governments have been rolling out grant programs (see below) to support small and medium businesses. We have seen an increase in companies looking to boost cash flow or improve working capital by accessing invoice, trade or debt financing to support their business.

Small Business COVID-19 Adaption Grant Program - Round 2
"The Queensland Government has extended the Small Business
COVID-19 Adaption Grant Program. As part of Stage 2 of Queensland's
Economic Recovery Strategy – Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs, up to
$100 million is being made available to deliver a second round of
grants, with half of this funding specifically earmarked for regional small
businesses located outside of South East Queensland.
Round 2 opened at 9am on 1 July 2020."
Ignite Ideas Fund - Round 7 is now open
"The Ignite Ideas Fund supports Queensland based small to medium businesses that have high-growth potential to undertake commercialisation projects that will:
strengthen key industries in Queensland
diversify the Queensland economy
compete in domestic and global markets
engage and/or benefit regional Queensland
create new jobs, now and into the future.
