\tBlueMount Capital's Director, M&A, Flora Mok, attended the SuperReturn Asia Conference at the JW Marriot Hotel, Hong Kong from 18 to 20 September 2018. This conference is very well known for its excellent networking opportunities for limited partners, general partners, financial advisors and other investment related professionals.
Discussions on Private Equity and Venture Capital
Over 800 attendees from more than 40 countries (including over 400 limited partners) joined the conference and there were various seminars and networking activities arranged for the participants. The topics of the seminar covered the latest developments in the private equity and venture capital spaces, the new technologies applied in the investment world and analysis of various industry sectors globally.
Notwithstanding of the recent global economic and political turmoil, the speakers at the conference share the same thoughts; that the global private equity and venture capital markets will keep on growing and Asia will remain one of the investment hotspots in the coming decades.
