Process designers are busy people. Conferences and trade shows are expensive and the leads they generate can be sometimes sketchy and often unqualified. What better time is there to connect with the engineer specifying equipment than at the time they are developing an actual process design?

AqMB is proud to release SupplierLink, the vendor portal providing qualified leads for water treatment equipment vendors. SupplierLink lets equipment vendors provide real- time price and product information directly to the designer, even when you've never called on them before. The vendor gets reliable design data and supporting information to minimise the need to price risk into quotations. The designer gets instant access to your latest information in one location including proposals, datasheets, contact details and other data required to get your equipment selected. Information from approved quotations go straight into the designer's equipment lists and capital cost templates. All this on a project you may never have even known about.

 

  • Discrete & Confidential

When a designer is deciding which equipment to specify on a project, they usually don't have a lot of time to shop around. Typically, they might email or call a few suppliers they know and tailor designs around products they have used before. SupplierLink gives every equipment vendor the opportunity to compete on a project by providing the designer with a discrete, confidential marketplace to obtain quotes and supporting documentation from all suppliers who wish to bid - without any time penalty on their project design phase. Only the designer or their company colleagues requesting the quote will see your data and they choose the level of confidentiality. The vendor has the option to review the request by clicking an email link and to either respond with discrete pricing and equipment performance data, a written proposal, supporting documentation or simply pass on the opportunity and store in your archive.

Although procurement and sourcing procedures vary around the world, it's often the process engineering team that sizes and selects all process/mechanical equipment. Connecting with the designers when they are in the midst of scenario modelling, sizing or specifying equipment and actually want to engage with suppliers, is a powerful way to get your product considered on what is usually a well qualified opportunity!
